The use of Facebook in romantic relationships: An actor-partner interdependence mediation model predicting relationship visibility

The purpose of this paper was to document the use social media in romantic relationships. More specifically, we examined whether information that people desired share (i.e., relationship visibility) and shared practice actual about their relationships on Facebook predicted by level relational commitment. A sample 139 couples, users Facebook, aged 17 30 years, participated study. Participants completed questionnaires used Friendship application (which gathered data directly from accounts). mediating role visibility link between commitment declared status transient investigated using path analyses for dyadic data.
